Using already established art for the Susie Papé Arena, create signage that would be outside the arena over the main ticket booth. On the back of the grandstand and above the announcer’s booth.
The client didn’t want it to look too “Old rusty country ranch” looking. Something more contemporary for the mounting. The idea was to make it look like an entrance to a typical ranch, but instead of going too rustic FPW leaned into the more contemporary lines of square steel vertical posts. Wanting to give a nod to the ranches of the area we designed a squared off cross beam but gave it a very subtle arch more akin to the traditional ranch entrances in the area. The end result was a modern take on the traditional ranch entrance signage of the area and a unique country arena presentation that is like no other.
