VFX Artist
Brian Johnson
Brian was born in Eugene, Oregon, but has lived in several places throughout the U.S. and even spent six months in Tokyo, Japan, helping his older brother recover from a stroke. He’s held a myriad of jobs in his life, including bouncer, personal trainer, and 3D Forensics Animator. In the winter of 2007 he was asked to write a script for a low-budget horror film. As repayment he was made a co-producer and got to help out on set. This was where his film career began. Shortly after that he attended film school in New Mexico and produced several short films, including an award-winning SciFi short film. After college he moved back to the Willamette Valley where he was hired by a local Ad Agency to produce local commercials, and eventually was hired as an editor for the network reality television show, Graveyard Carz. Today, he is immersed in helping to create a 3D, VFX, and Animation department for FPW. Outside of work, Brian loves spending time with his wife and two daughters, producing his own short and feature-length films, lifting extremely heavy objects, and, if time allows, he hopes to compete in amateur Strongman competitions in the very near future.
