Olsson Industrial Electric has been providing electrical engineering services in Oregon for more than 25 years. However, they’ve never truly invested in developing their brand or online presence. Upon reaching out to FPW Media, their corporate identity and company website were outdated and fell short of representing their expertise in electrical installation and instrumentation. Olsson Industrial Electric aimed to establish a modernized online presence and selected FPW Media to be their counterpart in photography used throughout the branding evolution. In addition, Olsson Industrial Electric tasked us with a wide range of trade show design services as well as copywriting projects for the new website.
FPW Media’s Role:
FPW Media developed a complete digital portfolio of photo assets to accompany the Olsson Industrial Electric website and trade show redesign. Through a series of on site and off site photo shoots, we documented important Olsson services such as panel creation, electrical engineering, warehousing and installation. In keeping with the feel of the site, the team headshots were designed to best capture the encouraging, helpful personalities of each employee. Every image was carefully reviewed and edited by our designers to ensure consistent quality and look throughout the catalog. The result is bold imagery with color and depth that effectively showcase the range of the company’s expertise. These photos were used throughout the design of trade show booths and assets. FPW Media worked closely with the Olsson team to create a trade show atmosphere that would turn heads. Taking their needs into consideration, we were able to source and custom design all trade show materials to highlight the Olsson innovation. Our copywriting services were utilized throughout the website to help unify the Olsson vision and voice.
Catalog creation was developed over the course of many photo shoots. Keeping in mind the nature of the business, the FPW team worked hard to achieve a clean sophisticated look, while still delivering a strong, hardworking, dynamic feel in each photograph. We relied on the brand, as well as the personality of each person photographed to lead us in a creative direction emphasizing the Olsson Industrial Electric commitment to customer service. Trade show assets were pitched and ultimately designed with the same creative direction in mind.
