FPW Media Vice President Adam Plantenberg has had an integral role in the growth of FPW Media over its lifetime. His superpower? People skills.
Adam’s first job was at Dutch Bros. Coffee. While this may seem uninspiring, it served to establish a significant foundation of relationship-centeredness for Adam’s work ethic. He realized the importance of customer service in business as he daily sold americanos and mocha freezes to customers who cared more about the service experience rather than the specifics of the product. He later applied this principle to contribute to the growth of FPW Media from a high-end production company to its current state as a creative studio and agency consisting of three divisions.
At heart, Adam’s passion is in the nitty-gritty of the production process—he greatly enjoys being part of projects from initial inception through filming. When he first joined the FPW team, he occupied the role of production manager. As he fostered relationships with clients, he immersed himself in not only the brand culture but also the interests and goals of the clients themselves. This enabled Adam to deeply understand the needs of and potential opportunities for clients. Conversations sprouted within these relationships in which clients would inquire about receiving additional, non-film-related services from the FPW team. Clients were so happy with FPW’s products and partnership that they were reluctant to look elsewhere for additional branding needs. Rather than declining clients’ requests, FPW has steadily grown to accommodate our clients’ needs.
Today, FPW Media consists of a team of over 20 creatives who have varying expertise across the broad spectrum of marketing and content creation. With our three interconnected divisions—Brand, Films, and Merch—we are proud to accept client requests of all varieties, from designing and sourcing small giveaway keychains to designing and coordinating largescale experience design. Adam manages a team of creatives who follow his lead—if a client requests it, we can produce it!
